Nigeria….my sweet homeland
My birthplace…my roots…my identity…
Far away from home
Yet the thirst for my home remains
The home of my ancestors and history
In my blood flows generations of history
Tears, joy, laughter, sadness, sorrows, and happiness of generations before me
That is how deep my root goes…
I embrace my homeland and my root
It contains a vast history of knowledge and pride
And a source of history for generations yet unborn….
